VEFN Policies serve as a guide for all involved in the VEFN organisation – for volunteers and for committees – for those that are involved within groups, as well as for government and governing bodies, setting the highest standards of practice. Our policies ensure that we are maintaining all aspects of ethical operations and functionality, in environmental advocacy and volunteer best practices in all relevant areas of our network.
Below are all policy areas applicable within VEFN, all of these are downloadable or viewable in full from respective pages, each also outline the ‘why’, ‘what’ and ‘how’ as a guideline. Our framework supports a proactive role in advocating for effective volunteer work that assists the local environment across our network.

The ethical operation and maintenance of community engagement and participation in all environmental project remains essential in upholding VEFN’s core ethos.
