Uniting groups to protect Victoria’s environment. The Victorian Environment Friends Network (VEFN) is the peak body that connects, empowers and promotes community-based environmental groups. Our main purpose is to advocate for volunteerism that improves natural places and biodiversity across Victoria.

Education & Advocacy – VEFN raises community awareness through skills training events, forums, workshops, education and other training for Friends Groups.
Connecting Groups and Networks – Our organisation facilitates ways that environmental groups to network and mentor in their areas.
Policy – Influencing decision-makers with strong policy work, networking with government submissions and lobbying.
Community Strength – Through awards for achievement support with website and initiatives, we work towards greater visibility for volunteer groups.
